IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are at least 70 and 1/2 years of age, you may want to utilize the IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution, formerly known as the IRA Rollover Provision, as a tax-wise way to support the NCBB. Choosing this option benefits you in two ways: first, the amount you distribute to the NCBB is excluded from taxable income; and second, when you reach age 73 the contribution counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).
